Chemical Peels

The Smooth Skin Protocol

At Vitch Polyclinic, we combine dermatological precision with current skin-science to offer a range of transformative chemical peel treatments — each calibrated to a specific depth, concern, and skin profile.

Overview:

A chemical peel is a clinical resurfacing treatment that uses specialized acid solutions to intentionally remove damaged outer layers of skin. Our approach moves well beyond one-size-fits-all protocols. We utilize bio-available formulations that penetrate specific skin depths to trigger collagen synthesis and repair. Whether the goal is to resolve persistent acne or reverse years of cumulative sun damage, our team tailors the pH and concentration precisely to your skin’s current state.

Our Specialized Peels
  • The Superficial PHAs & AHAs: Large-molecule acids that hydrate as they exfoliate. Well-suited for sensitive skin or those seeking an immediate radiance boost without any visible peeling.
  • The Pigment Precision Peel (Targeted TCA & Kojic Acid): Using advanced Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) stabilized with antioxidants, this peel targets melanocytes (pigment-producing cells). It is specifically engineered to address melasma and sun damage common in high-UV environments like Dubai.
  • The Acne & Clarity Protocol (Liposomal BHA): Traditional Salicylic acid can be drying. The liposomal delivery system here allows the BHA to travel deeper into the pore — dissolving sebum and addressing bacteria at the source while keeping the surface skin calm and hydrated.
  • The Bio-Stimulatory Hybrid: Our most advanced option. It combines medium-depth acids with messenger peptides that signal the skin to behave more youthfully. The result is the structural depth of a medium peel with the recovery time of a superficial one.
Key Benefits
  • Cellular Detoxification: Removes environmental pollutants and debris trapped in the epidermal layers.
  • Hyperpigmentation Correction: Fades sun spots, age spots, and post-inflammatory marks from past breakouts.
  • Texture Refining: Reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and smooths uneven skin texture.
  • Structural Support: Stimulates the natural production of hyaluronic acid and collagen in the dermis, improving skin density over time.
Who Is It For?

This service is designed for individuals seeking a meaningful reset for their skin. It is particularly well-suited for those experiencing:

  • Dullness or City Skin: Tired-looking skin caused by urban pollution, environmental stress, or cumulative lifestyle demands.
  • Acne & Congestion: Active oily skin or Grade 1–2 acne that has not responded to topical creams.
  • Signs of Photo-Aging: Rough texture and fine wrinkles caused by sustained UV exposure.
  • Uneven Tone: Stubborn dark spots or an inconsistent complexion that obscures the skin’s natural clarity.
The Procedure Journey
1. Bespoke Clinical Consultation

Your journey begins with a private consultation with our aesthetic practitioners. We perform a physical skin mapping — examining elasticity, oil production, and history through careful tactile evaluation — to select the exact acid concentration suited to your specific needs.

2. The Clinical Prep

We prepare the skin with a pH-balancing medical cleanse, removing surface lipids and pollutants to ensure the peel penetrates with complete uniformity.

3. Active Resurfacing

The selected peel is applied in thin, controlled layers. Our practitioners remain present throughout, monitoring your skin’s response to ensure the treatment is effective while remaining precisely within your comfort threshold.

4. Post-Peel Prescription & Advice

The treatment concludes with a cooling, peptide-rich infusion. You will receive a Personalized Skin Prescription detailing your bespoke home-care routine, recommended dietary support for skin healing, and a scheduled follow-up plan.

Expected Results & Longevity

  • Days 1–2: Skin appears notably bright and the surface feels refined.
  • Days 3–5: Depending on the peel depth, microscopic flaking may occur as the old surface sheds.
  • Day 14: The new skin phase — collagen synthesis peaks, revealing a smoother, more even complexion.
  • Longevity: A single treatment provides approximately 4 weeks of improvement. A cumulative course of 3 to 4 treatments can structurally improve the skin for up to 12 months.
Pre- and Post-Care Instructions
Pre-Care (7 Days Prior)
  • Stop Actives: Discontinue Retinol, AHA/BHAs, and prescription Tretinoin.
  • Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds.
Post-Care (The Recovery Period)
  • The Non-Negotiable: Apply a broad-spectrum physical SPF 50+ every 2 hours, even if indoors.
  • Hands Off: Do not pick, pull, or scrub the peeling skin. Doing so risks permanent scarring or PIH.
  • Hydrate: Use ceramide-based moisturizers or Hyaluronic Acid to support the new skin barrier.

Inquiry Guide

Can I get a chemical peel during the Dubai summer?
Yes, provided you are fully committed to sun safety. Our Summer-Safe PHAs are designed for high-UV climates. We recommend scheduling in the late afternoon and maintaining a physical-block SPF 50+ indoors and out for the week following treatment.
The appropriate choice depends on your skin profile. Lasers use thermal energy, while peels use chemical energy. For patients with a history of hyperpigmentation or sensitive skin, the Bio-Stimulatory Hybrid Peel is often the safer and more effective option for refining texture without the risk of heat-induced darkening.
For superficial scarring, we typically recommend a series of 4 to 6 treatments spaced 21 days apart. This interval allows us to progressively work deeper into the dermal layers, systematically smoothing the skin’s surface with each session.
The biological response is the opposite. While the peel removes the dead surface layer, the skin responds by thickening the dermis through increased collagen and elastin production. Regularly administered professional peels result in stronger, more resilient skin over time.
We treat patients from their late teens (for acne management) through their 70s (for cellular rejuvenation). The treatment is adapted to the biological age of the skin — focusing on congestion resolution for younger patients and structural cellular repair for mature skin.
